East Timor
East Timor is known as an unstable country. Both politically and economically. The country is dominated by attacks, riots and gangs. Tourism has therefore virtually come to a standstill. The interior of East Timor is characterized by rugged mountains, rice fields and tropical forests. On the coastline you will find beautiful white sandy beaches and clear water, ideal for diving for coral reefs and colorful fish. The country is also known for beautiful buildings such as statues and churches. In many areas you will find abandoned houses, tent camps, poverty and soldiers.
