Niger

Niger is known as a country with great natural beauty and traditional tribes. The landscape consists largely of desert areas and volcanic mountain areas. The animal world in Niger includes elephants, giraffes, lions, hippos and panthers. A large part of the population lives below the poverty line. The majority live in the valleys of the Niger River and depend on agriculture and livestock farming. Furthermore, the country is known for the many coups it has experienced.
